datacamp for the classroom

I am interested in leveraging online learning tools like DataCamp to facilitate and enhance student learning in the field of Data Science. DataCamp provides expert guidance and hands-on-the-keyboard exercises that help students learn faster and more effectively. That is why institutions like Harvard and Princeton Universities have adopted it into their learning programs. As a new initiative, I am bringing DataCamp to Trent University by using "DataCamp For The Classroom" in my Research Design & Data Analysis class for fall 2018.

data science learning community

I hope that this "blog" will provide a Data Science learning community for students in my BIOL 4030 Research Design and Data Analysis course, as well as anyone else who might be interested in topics related to Computing for Biologists.

As an Assistant Professor in the Biology Department at Trent University I started this blog with the intention of posting code and other analytical resources for the analysis of genomic data.
My plan is to start this blog again now that I am focussing more on research as an Adjunct Professor in ENLS at Trent University.
